Salmon in Wine

Description
A simple yet sophisticated meal for any night of the week.
Ingredients
4 salmon steaks
2 diced carrots
2 bay leaves
4 mint sprigs
1 1/2 cups white wine
7 diced scallions
orange slices for garnish
Directions
Put wine, carrots, scallions, and bay leaves in a skillet. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring well. Discard bay leaves. Add salmon steaks and simmer for 6 minutes(3 minute on each side). Remove salmon steaks to serving plates. Garnish, each piece of salmon, with a mint sprig and orange slices, to taste.
