Frito Salad

Description

Wonderful salad large enough to feed a crowd. You'll be amazed at the flavor!

Ingredients
1 large head of lettuce
1 large bag of chili cheese Frito's
1 large onion
2 tomatoes
2 cans of chili "beans"
1 large bag of shredded mixed Mexican cheese
1 large bottle Ranch dressing

Directions
You will need a very large bowl for this. Pinch off lettuce, lightly crunch Frito's, drain beans leaving just a little juice in bottom and add all this to the bowl. Dice the onion and tomato's and add along with the cheese and Ranch dressing. Take tongs and toss thoroughly. Enjoy my salad!

Description

This is a nice, quick and healthy meal everyone will enjoy!

Ingredients
1 lb. pre-cooked seasoned turkey meat
8 oz. cream cheese (low fat)
3 stalks celery
1/2 yellow onion
1/2 cup mayonnaise (low fat)
salt to taste
pepper to taste
6 pita pockets
shredded lettuce or alfalfa sprouts

Directions
Clean and pat dry celery and onion, and then dice up. Throw these and cream cheese into a mixing bowl, mixing on low speed until everything is well combined. Next, add mayonnaise and mix until blended in. Now, dice turkey into small pieces and stir into bowl along with other ingredients, adding salt and pepper to taste. Next, cut pita pockets in half. Spoon in turkey salad on the bottom of the pita and stuff lettuce or sprouts on top of turkey salad. Enjoy this wonderful little meal.

Corn Salad

Description

This is a favorite when gardens are ripe.

Ingredients
two cans 16-oz shoepeg corn or ten large ear parboiled
two large tomatoes chopped
1 cucumber diced
4 green onion or 1 small sweet
approximately 1 cup REAL MAYO.
salt to taste.

Directions
Mix all ingredients together in large bowl adding mayo last. cover tightly, store in refrigerator at least 4 hours to let the flavors meld together. Best if stored overnight. Won't be any left to put back after meals.

Description

This is an easy cool summer salad.

Ingredients
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1-2 large tomatoes chopped
1 1/4 cups Miracle whip
5 teaspoons white vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup chopped green pepper

Directions
Cook macaroni according to package directions, then drain and rinse in cold water. In a large bowl, combine the macaroni, tomato and green pepper. In a small bowl, combine Miracle whip, vinegar, salt and pepper. Pour over macaroni and toss to coat. Stir in crumbled bacon. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Yield: 12 servings. We like lots of tomato in our salad, but 1 large tomato will work fine.

Ingredients
1lb tortellini
3/4 lb zuchini
3/4 lb ham
3/4 lb tomato
12 green onions
1 cup miracle whip
1 cup sour cream
3 gloves garlic minced
3 tbs milk
2 tbs vinegar
fresh ground pepper
20 leafs fresh basil

Directions
step 1: cook tortellini in salt and oil water as long as packet says
step 2: dice next four ingredients
step 3: mix next seven ingredients
step 4: mix step 1-3 and let sit for 1h bevore serving best if longer

Total Time: 25 Min
